Our Musical Director is Elizabeth Hayley who took up the baton with us in 2005.

She has been MD for Taunton Amateur Operatic Society in 'Me and My Girl', 'Anything Goes', 'The Mikado' & 'Hot Mikado'. In October 2005 she gave a series of highly acclaimed masterclasses/recitals at Ridley College, Toronto, where she returned in October 2007. Elizabeth currently teaches music scholars at Sherborne School & Blundells' School, is Conductor of Wellington Choral Society, and as soloist has performs with many orchestras playing concertos by Mozart, Grieg, Shostakovitch, Mendelssohn, and Gershwin's 'Rhapsody in Blue' On Saturday 15th November 2008 she will perform Tchaikovsky's famous Piano Concerto with the Somerset County Orchestra. Elizabeth had the honour of becoming a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts in 2007.
